Hamilton Volleyball Beats Holland Christian 3-1

By: Cody Maatman

Hamilton won a nail biter against HC last night. With the first game being one sided 25-12, the Hamilton Hawkeyes lost some steam in the second and they lost 22-25. They started to pick it up in the third with a 26-24 win over HC. Then they got their heads together, came out and destroyed them in the 4th game 25-11. This is their second time beating HC in conference play. They are now still behind Byron Center by one game. The top performers were Jordan Pikaart with 34 kills, Destiny Alexander with 24 assists, Erin Meiste with 21 digs, and Courtney VandeVorde with 4 blocks. Even though they came out with the win, Coach Ekkens was not pleased with the performance by the girls last night in the second and third games.
