Hawkeyes Drop Meet to Strong Dutch Team

The Hamilton Swim and Dive team took on the Holland Dutch on Tuesday. The Hawkeyes swam well, but dropped their match to a strong Dutch team, 106-80.  Holland swimmer, Taylor Garcia, set a new pool record in the 50 freestyle leading off the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 23:99 seconds.

Hamilton’s, Rileigh Eding, won two events last night. She won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1 minute and 59.23 seconds and the 100 butterfly with a time of 1 minute and 1.13 seconds. Stephanie Johnston also won two events last night. She won the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.43 seconds, and the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.17 seconds. Mikayla VanFleeren won the 1-meter diving for the Hawkeyes with 225.80 points.

The Hamilton Swim and Dive team are back in action on Tuesday, October 28, as they travel to Unity Christian.
