Hamilton girls drop their game to Middleville

By Zoie Driy

HAMILTON, Mich. – Two Fridays ago, December 5th the Hamilton Girls Basketball team went up against Middleville. Starting the season off by beating Jenison 63-48. The girls were eager to continue the winning streak.  With the team consisting of only 4 returning players and 9 new ones added to the team. They have some adjusting to do.

Besides that fact the girls dropped their game to Middleville 28-34. They played well enough defensively to win but did not take care of the ball in order to secure the win. They played hard but improvement is needed. Nethertheless the girls continue to improve everyday. “We are working on taking care of the ball and learning how important good passing decisions are.” quoted Coach VanHekken.

See the girls back on the court Tuesday, December 16th vs West Ottawa.
