Coach Dan VanHekken said “[their] main focus was shutting down Haley.” He also said they went to a zone, but “wanted to make sure they knew where she was at all times,” and added that it was a great team defensive effort.

Kendra Bott said the team: “fought hard rebounding which was a big goal that game.” She also added that they have been working on intensity and mind set going into the game.

Hamilton faces off against the Falcons of Allendale on Tuesday at Allendale High School.
