Hawkeye Volleyball spikes the Holland Dutch

HOLLAND, Mich. — September 24, Hamilton Varsity Volleyball played the Holland Dutch, resulting in a win for Hamilton. The overall score was 3-2. In the first set, it was 25-23: Holland, the second sets score was 25-22: Hamilton. In the third set Holland was on top with a score of 25-20. Hamilton won the the fourth set 25-22, and in the final sets score was 15-4.

A few players that performed well in the matches were Nicole Dekker with nine kills and seven blocks, Kambrea Sale with seven kills and four blocks and Britney VandeWege with 24 assists, three kills, seven digs, and four aces. Also Francis Prins had 16 digs and five aces.

“Tonight was fun to watch the girls persevere and push through to the end. They really came together as a team and won this one together.” said coach Makenzie Branderhorst.
