Hamilton Football falls short to Holland Christian Maroons

HAMILTON, Mich. – On October 23rd, the Hamilton football team fell in a hard fight against the Holland Christian Maroons. The Maroons scored the first two touchdowns of the game in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Hamilton scored a touchdown, and Holland Christian put up another 14 points.  In the second half of the game, Holland Christian scored another 20 points, making the final score of 7-48. Junior, Tyler Eding commented on the game, “It was disappointing, obviously things didn’t go as hoped, we couldn’t seem to get things to get going on offense. We also struggled a little bit on defense.”

Top players of the game for Hamilton were Keaton Mudd with a total of 308 passing yards, Jacob Arnold with 30 rushing yards, and Sawyer McMahon with 105 receiving yards.
In the end, the team fell short but played hard in their final game of the season.
