Hamilton Girls Volleyball defeats the Dutch

HAMILTON, Mich. – The Hamilton girls varsity volleyball team won their game against Holland on October 13 at home.  With a score of three to zero, the girls won each set with ease.

Hamilton sophomore, Britney VandeWege, played one of her best games yet with 24 assists, one ace, two kills, and six digs.  Senior, Frannie Prins, also played well with 17 digs and three aces.

The girls coach, Makenzie Branderhorst, gives a recap of the game saying, “Tonight we played very well as one unit.  We took care of business on our side. I am very proud of our girls for how they played tonight and stuck it out even when they were down in the second game.”

The girls next game will be Thursday, October 15 at Byron Center where they hope to gain another win for their season.
