Hawkeye Volleyball falls to Byron Center Bulldogs

HAMILTON, Mich. РOn Thursday October 15, the Hawkeye Volleyball Team was defeated by the Byron Center Bulldogs.  Hamilton won the first two sets and then lost the final three sets.

Hamilton was victorious in the first two sets with a score of 25-19 in both. The Bulldogs began to play with more intensity in the next three sets and the Hawkeyes were defeated. They were outscored 25-10, 25-20 and 15-11.

The star players of the night were Nicole Dekker setting a new career high of nineteen kills and five blocks and Britney VandeWege with 16 digs, 22 assists, and one ace.

The Hawkeyes are next in action Tuesday, October 20 against the Holland Christian Maroons.
