Hawkeyes Lose Two Games in Zeeland Holiday Tournament

HAMILTON, Mich.- The Hamilton boys basketball team played their fourth and fifth games at the holiday tournament.  The boys dropped their game to Zeeland East by a score of 38-61. They also lost to Jenison the following day 38 to 31.

 

The top scorer against Zeeland East was Dylan Oonk with 15. Dylan shot 63% from the field which helped him earn a first team all tournament selection. Ben Koopman also added 9 points as well as 3 rebounds.

 

Hamilton took on Jenison the following day. The Hawkeyes shot a terrific 5 for 11 from three but it wasn’t enough to stop the Wildcats.  Dylan Oonk again lead the Hawkeyes with 14 points and 2 rebounds.

 

The Hawkeyes are back in action tonight against Catholic Central in Grand Rapids.
