Baseball Takes Two Out of Three Against the Dutch

   Holland, Mich.- Last Tuesday the Hawkeyes squared off against the Holland Dutch in a double header. The 4-2 Hawkeyes were looking to keep their hot streak going against the 4-6 Holland Dutch.


In the first game of the double header Jake Visscher, of the Hawkeyes took the mound against Derr, of Holland. Jake Visscher took the loss for the Hawkeyes to drop his record to 2-1. Offensively Visscher led the Hawkeyes going 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. Dekker also went 1 for 2 with a base on balls. Klingenberg pitched a strong 2 innings where he gave up 0 runs and 0 hits. They ultimately lost 6-0.

In the second game of the double header Dekker, of the Hawkeyes took the mound against Bronsink, of Holland. Holland beat Hamilton 10-0. Holland swept both games against Hamilton.It was a disappointing day for the hawkeyes who came in undefeated against Ok Green competition.
