Hawkeyes fall short to the Crusaders

What Happened: The Varsity football team lost on the road friday night to Unity Christian, with a score of 26-14.

Key Moment: When the crusaders took a 19-0 lead going into the fourth quarter. The hawkeyes score twice in the 4th quarter, but come up short. 

Key Players: Senior Marcus Mcllwain lead the Hawkeyes with 107 rushing yards. Senior Linebacker Riley Tolsma lead the hawkeyes on defense with 8 tackles. 

What does it mean: The Hawkeyes fall to 3-4 on the season, looking to keep their playoff hopes alive. They need to win the next 2 games to have a chance at the playoffs
